What we need from you to take things forward:

What you will do:

Effective leadership and future development of the team ensuring their daily tasks align with the site operating objectives and business needs
Organise and take responsibility for team members to maximise performance of processing plants
Be accountable for your team and their actions
Responsible for all aspects of Operations shift management, including cover arrangements for holidays, sickness or other shift changes
To manage all waste movements on site from receipt to treatment and/or transfer from site in accordance with company procedures (SAP) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured
Ensure the plant(s) are operated in line with site permits and consents, including monitoring emissions (where applicable) to avoid breaches
Report any such breaches to the regulator in accordance with permit requirements and to management in accordance with company procedures
Maximise throughputs on all processing plants by ensuring waste is mixed/blended as required
Act as go between to site manager in the absence of the plant manager
Carry out all required operational checks and/or maintenance on site and equipment in accordance with PPM schedule
