Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and competent engineer to join the engineering team at our plant in Yeovil. The successful candidate will be experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a control bias being essential. Key responsibilities will include fault diagnosis, conducting repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance activity.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The maintenance of all equipment on site
  • Carrying out repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Effectively working with site production team to maintain production levels
  • To work effectively with other engineers and technical cleaners on site.
  • To comply with all Company and legal standards when working
  • To ensure effective fault diagnosis / or an awareness of it’s poor performance of any plant and equipment on site that is not operating to the required targets.
  • To carry out / assist repairs when needed.
  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance activity as instructed
You will be required to work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm.
