Set up a new trade website and online business, and promote it (graduate)

A mix of IT and marketing skills are required, with a touch of sales / customer service. It may be that there is not anyone who ticks all the boxes, so if you have most of the skills required, then please do get in touch.

The position is due to a new venture related to online/showroom retail and trade sales, and new product marketing. It’s a real chance for you to make a difference. There is also the potential for you to take on a new product line. You will have the opportunity to influence and make strategic changes withing the business. And manage a small online business, and create opportunities in the online marketing space.

You should have a Marketing or IT degree. As there is a focus on the online business, if you have run your own online business (or side-hustle) that would be ideal (but is not essential).

You’ll be creating a new website from scratch, so will need to have some experience in web design. Your knowledge should ideally include HTML/CSS, Wordpress, and Adobe.

One of the key aims is to get the website noticed, and up the Google rankings, so you should have good skills with SEO. And ideally some experience with Google AdWords, for campaigns.

You’ll also need to have knowledge of social media platforms, to promote the website. There could be other methods used, too; for example video marketing, sales presentations, tradeshows, and advertising.

You’ll be managing trade accounts, and dealing with stock management. And a lot of the administration related to sales. Training can be given in this.

This office is based in Hinckley, Leicestershire and you will need to be based nearby, or within commuting distance.

£20,000 with OTE: £22,500 -£25,000. Subject to sales and marketing targets. You will have use of the company vehicle for any site visits. Start date is asap.
