Location: Rosewell House

Duration: Permanent, Full Time and Part time positions available

Rosewell House Service Descriptor

Rosewell House is a 60-bedded integrated facility, providing person-centred and reablement focused intermediate and rehabilitation care. It is delivered in partnership by Bon Accord Care (BAC) and Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP).

Rosewell House Supports
  • Admissions from the community (for example people’s home) as an alternative to admission to hospital.
  • Admissions from the acute hospital in-patient wards (for example Aberdeen Royal Infirmary) to support active recovery and rehabilitation.

At Rosewell we work 12 1/4hr shifts 7am - 7:15pm or 7pm - 7.15am

The full-time rota is 39.375hrs per week average on a pattern of 3 days 1 week, 4 day the following.

We can consider part-time hours but would still need to be the full shift times.

Job Purpose

Throughout Aberdeen city you will lead and participate in the provision of a high standard of person centred care and support for service users in a range of accommodation settings, including their own homes. You will contribute to the organisation and development of the team and service to promote good outcomes for service users and their carers

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Qualification required by SSSC - SVQ 3

Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willing to become a scheme member

To have registered or undertaken registration with the SSSC where applicable

PDA in supervision or willingness to work towards

Responsibilities

The post holder needs to be able to demonstrate an understanding or experience of:

The Health and Care Sector and the principles of providing care and support

Adult Support and Protection legislation

Health and safety in the workplace

Assessments, reviews and support planning

Supervision Skills

Organisational and Planning Skills
