Service Manager – Agile - up to £800 per day (Inside IR35)

A Service Manager from an Agile background is required by a world-renowned educational establishment based in London.

The purpose of the Service Management team is to provide efficient service management processes so that the division can provide excellent IT services with a strong customer focus.

The Service Manager will effectively lead and line manage staff in the Service Management function as well as ensure each service has a defined strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure each service has a roadmap in place and that progress in delivering on these is measured
  • Lead and line manage Domain Service Leads/Application Service Owners
  • Ensure that services are clearly defined and have relevant KPIs which are measured
  • Own the Configuration Management Database, ensuring it is maintained and that service dependencies are documented and understood
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager
  • Agile background
  • ITIL v4 (Desirable)
This will be for an initial period of 6 months with the opportunity for that to be extended further.

It is paying up to £800 per day inside of IR35.

The role is currently hybrid, with two days on site and the rest WFH.
