Overall ResponsibilityTo manage the after sales support for the Company products and to supervise/manage the team of Service Technicians. To organise and manage the service-related customer training programme. Responsible for supporting the Technical Department as the front line point of contact for technical enquiries.
This is a senior role and as such, the jobholder is required to actively participate in required activities such as our PEP review and to contribute towards key goals of the company including our main goal of achieving profitable growth.
Key Tasks Include
- Process/handle technical enquiries from customers and colleagues
- Oversee the commissioning, servicing and fault finding visits as required
- To ensure written reports are provided in a timely manner
- To ensure that we provide excellent levels of response by appointing and managing a network of Service Partners
- To manage/deliver all relevant training required for Service Technicians and Service Partners
- Plan, manage and organise service-related customer training programme
- To ensure that Service Technicians and Service Partners hold all relevant qualifications and certificates as required
- To manage the service departmental budget and report as required
- To adhere to Health and Safety protocol, procedures and policies
- To adhere to our Integrated Management System policies
- Continuously maintain the CRM database, including Accounts, Contacts and Service Cases
- To manage and monitor Service Van inventory
- Thorough understanding of HVAC Industry, commercial boilers, water heaters and their applications
- Good IT knowledge including standard Microsoft Office packages and Navision/CRM type software
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to manage people and to manage own time effectively
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a product related role
