JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Service Manager position within the CPM packaging group company. Reporting to the Group Managing Director.

This position is customer focused providing supervision of the Field Service Team and often on site in the form of project management and assistance to the commissioning team sometimes being a member of the team when not leading.

Technically competent, with a solutions and theoretical ability to think on presentation of problems/issues.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and calibration on process control systems.
  • Carry out corrective/reactive maintenance.
  • Develop revenue streams for Aftermarket.
  • Manage the Services team.
  • Manage Spares supply to customer.
  • Understand customer needs and have the ability to resolve issues through knowledge gained of the industry sector, customer’s site and processes.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to ensure that assigned activities are completed effectively and on time.
  • Understand, comply with and promote our client’s strong quality and HSE culture.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Qualified to ONC/HNC mechanical, electrical or equivalent engineering subject.
  • Experience of working with Burners and thermal engineering preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a continuous production, environment or service industry.
  • Management of Service team.
  • Working knowledge of SCADA, PLC advantageous
  • Working knowledge of air flow and fan systems
  • Knowledge of computers and applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
