Position Overview:
As Service & Maintenance Engineer you will Inspect and maintain the equipment according to prescribed methods so that the equipment always meets running condition and safety standards.
You will ensure that rental projects are built and commissioned according to the agreed requirements of the customer, and if applicable, according to the project drawings and descriptions from the Application Engineering team.

Service & Maintenance Engineer Job Profile
  • Make returning equipment ready for the next rental project (R2R) according the prescribed method in the work order and associated checklist and close the associated work order correctly so the (M3) status of the Equipment is ready for the next rental process.
  • Provide support in the preparation and execution of logistics for inbound and outbound equipment when required.
  • As Service & Maintenance Engineer you will report problems identified with damages to a manager / supervisor so that it can be addressed as part of the customer invoice process.
  • When required, provide support in the Depot offloading / off hire of equipment and ensure that relevant administration is completed e.g. delivery notes / fuel levels / run hours etc.
  • Build up rental projects at customer sites according to the project drawings / plan / scope. Ensure that the customer is continuously informed about relevant activities on site and if changes are needed, communicate with the application team and the customer to ensure the best possible setup.
  • Commission rental projects after build up to ensure fully functional installations are delivered. Hand projects over to customers by demonstrating their operation and obtaining sign off of delivered equipment and ancillaries.
  • As Service & Maintenance Engineer you will execute correct and timely Work Order administration of used consumables (e.g. oil, filters, coolant) and of used spare parts so that stock level and financial control can be assured. In case of ordering consumables and parts the PO procedure should be followed to ensure correct stock levels and financial control.
  • Ensure that you work safely and in accordance with the QHSSE policies and procedures of the company to prevent accidents from happening and report near misses, incidents and accidents immediately without any delay.
Specific Skills for the Service & Maintenance Engineer:
  • A proven track record and technical hands-on field experience in the maintenance, diagnostic, investigation of mechanical / electrical faults and problems.
  • Mechanical and or electronic engineering qualifications
  • Fully competent on all aspects of diagnosis and repair
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
