We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Service Engineers to join our thriving team based in Coalville . QMS are service, repair and installation specialists for all aggregate crushing equipment. Our highly trained engineers provide expert assistance 24/7 to keep any plant in full operating order.Relevant experience and a proven track record are important, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, achieve and excel within the company.Salary: Up to £18.00 per hour, dependant on experience + overtime opportunitiesJob Type: Full time, PermanentCompany Vehicle: VanLocation: Travelling from our Coalville site daily this role will predominately be based at our customers quarries around the UK, there will be occasional travel further afield where stop overs may be necessary.Working alongside our expert engineers, you will be involved in supporting the installation, inspection, repair, maintenance and commissioning of all aggregate processing plant (crushers, screens, conveyors, full plant installation). You will also be required to work at our head office where you will support the repair and maintenance of crushers and crusher components. A good working knowledge of the industry is also important as you will be working with other manufacturers aggregate processing plant as well as our own.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, self-motivated and driven individual, with a passion for meeting targets and learning new skills and to become a part of our brilliant team. This is a customer facing role, so good customer service and communication skills are essential.We would expect you to be experienced in all aspects of mechanical engineering and the maintenance of plant, basic welding ability and ideally have some electrical and hydraulic equipment knowledge to enable the diagnosis of faults.You will be experienced in working on a large heavy plant equipment and be comfortable working outdoors.We are seeking individuals who can work autonomously, have a sense of urgency and good awareness of health & safety.You will need to be flexible with respect to working hours (overtime at weekends/bank holidays) and hold a full driving licence.If you feel you can offer the skills and experience to become a valued member of our growing team, please click ’apply’ today to become one of our new Service Engineers .
