We currently have an exciting opportunity at Johnsons Workwear Treforest for a Service Delivery Driver driving one of our 7.5t vehiclesMake your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.*Job Summary: *You will be part of our Transport Department team consisting of 18 drivers. Ideal candidates will have the relevant licence entitlement, Digital tacho card and CPC driver qualification card. This role will include the delivery and collection of garments, some of which will need to be put into workwear lockers, lifting and laying of dust control mats and some cage work totaling 25 – 30 drops per day.You must be committed to providing the highest level of service to our new and established customers as the timely delivery of our goods plays an important role in the quality service we provide.*Key Tasks: *
  • Load vehicle and off-load into designated areas
  • Ensure the sufficient supply of sundry items i.e. repair labels, bags etc.
  • Collect/deliver items, load/empty OPD lockers, exchange dust control mats as shown on documentation
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
  • Establish and maintain good Customer relations and act as liaison between Customer and Company
  • Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time
  • Forward queries and keep managers, supervisors and colleagues informed as necessary
  • Obtain signatures and keep accurate records where required
  • Look for opportunities to expand the business and report appropriately
*The Person: *This role can be physically demanding but very rewarding for the right person. You will need to be physically fit and have good communication skills and an obliging nature. You must also hold a C1 7.5t licenceINDDRIVERJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £11.50 per hourBenefits
