Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced service coordinator to join a well established Mechanical team in birkenhead.

  • Good communication, IT and organizational skills essential.
  • Working in a team directly with company Director and management
  • Coordinate service engineers to attend sites in UK or Internationally liaising with diverse International customer base.
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required on ROTA basis.
  • Organizing logistical support for service engineers which may include booking flights, accommodation, additional spare parts.
  • Producing estimates and quotations for workshop work or site work.
  • Finalizing all service documentation for invoicing purposes after communication with service engineers and Directors.
  • Investigating and solving customers’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants;
  • issuing refunds or compensation to customers;
  • keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers;
  • analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service your organisation is providing helping to increase customer retention and new customer sales;
  • developing feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use;
  • developing customer service procedures, policies and standards;
  • meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service and company policies; and be able to audit
  • learning about MTE’s products or services and keeping up to date with changes;
  • Manage reconditioning of stock with workshop personnel, keeping detailed records and certificates
  • Assisting with QMS internal audit
