Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks have an exciting opportunity for a Service Controller to join our friendly team based at our head office in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is a full time, permanent position, working 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks is a brand of Mitsubishi Logisnext, the world’s fourth-largest industrial truck manufacturer, supplying a complete range of electric, gas and diesel operated forklift trucks to our customers.ResponsibilitiesAs our Service Controller, you will be responsible for the direct planning of regional engineers to carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on our customers forklifts.Accountabilities will include;- Identifying the customer needs and allocating resources accordingly.
  • Continuously maintain clear, open and consistent communication with the customer throughout the service repair processes.
  • Continuously monitor the regions efficiencies and profitability.
  • Ensuring our engineers are adhering to all service processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of customers and service engineers.
  • Identifying any performance issues and carrying regular reviews with Regional Service Manager.
  • Use of customer feedback and KPI’s to continually improve the customers service experience and deliver the highest business performance.
  • Assisting and supporting engineers within your region as well as other regions if their controller is unavailable.
  • General service administration including, invoicing, raising and chasing of estimates, ascertaining purchase order numbers for completed work and raising purchase order numbers for suppliers.
  • Skills And ExperienceTo be consider for the position of Service Controller you must have a minimum of 18 months experience in a customer service role. Other skills and experience we will be looking for include:- The ability to deliver first class service to achieve company objectives
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Self-motivated with experience of achieving targets
  • Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to multi-task, working quickly and accurately under pressure
  • A good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skill, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A positive, friendly and helpful attitude
