The successful applicant will be responsible for handling all accounts for our Block Management department.

You will be responsible for

  • Setting up new business sites to property management system
  • Production of residential service charge accounts
  • Reconciliation of independently prepared accounts
  • Client liaison on all accounting matters
  • Internal liaison with Property Managers
  • Assisting with complex queries from Property Managers
  • Providing the accountants with the year end documents
  • Supporting the Property Managers
  • Assisting RMC Directors in the understanding of the service charge accounts
  • Attending Annual General Meetings s and other meetings with clients as required
  • Ensuring RICS Service Charge Residential Management Code is adhered to
  • Issuing S20B notices in line with ARMA Standards
  • Reporting department revenue and expenditure to Manager and Partners

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years’ Service Charge Accounting experience
  • Accountancy qualifications -preferable but not essential (AAT Level 4/ACCA)
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Working to deadlines and attention to detail
  • Strong IT (Excel), numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
