Our Newark based Client is going through an exciting time and part of this transformation is strengthening the company’s digital visibility with a particular focus on Search Engine Optimisation and improving their search visibility.

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious SEO Specialist who can run the SEO and PPC for their key websites.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a SEO Specialist will include:

  • Build the entire SEO Strategy including a content marketing and link building strategy, PPC campaigns, support social media marketing and also assist with future plans for YouTube advertising
  • Manage all SEO activities; taking ownership of the SEO performance of platforms working to deliver on a clear and agreed strategy, making use of marketing research strategies and analysis to improve the websites ranking on all major search engines
  • Proactively keeping up to date with the latest SEO trends
  • Create and review detailed campaign performance data and future looking strategic road maps
  • Technical auditing, keyword research, content recommendations, reporting, and forecasting
  • Work closely within the Creative Marketing team, build successful relationships, with content writers, social media team etc
  • Determine the latest industry news, SEO trends, tools, and effective benchmarks, and best practices

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal SEO Specialist will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to manage expectations and work with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders using initiatives to bring forward new ideas and grow the business
  • Must have a clear understanding of CRO and understand how to increase conversion rates
  • Ecommerce process implementations experience in working with SEO and performance management
  • Intermediate understanding of digital marketing software such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, screaming frog, Search Metrics, SEMRush, MOZ & Search Console
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of on-site & off-site optimisation efforts
  • Experience in leading project teams, working independently and with external teams
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and maintaining delivery momentum
  • An ability to analyse data, with an attention to detail to spot opportunities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
