SEO is a serious part of our marketing strategy and we are looking for a key person to help us realise our vision and SEO domination. This person will work in a small but focused internal SEO team at Missguided and with our agency partners be responsible for generating high rankings for critical keyword groups for our business. The role will span across all the global websites we operate, but mostly focus on the UK and US. This role will suit an someone who is passionate about SEO, who loves to action ideas quickly and see fast results

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work with our current team to help Missguided develop and expand further. The ideal candidate is someone who can add innovative ideas, experience, energy and enthusiasm into the mix. The successful candidate will need to enjoy and thrive from working in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support the Head of SEO to execute an SEO strategy to take us to number one for visibility,
  • Working with incumbent SEO team to quickly review our current work streams and devise both quick wins and longer-term plan to win at SEO. (measures of success are rankings, visibility, organic traffic, revenue and profit)
  • Conduct ongoing research, analysis and audits to identify opportunities for target key terms and on-page optimisation, and to protect against algorithmic penalties
  • Work cross functionally with our content team (agency and inhouse) to ensure our content is fully SEO optimised and backlinks are clean and valuable.
  • Work with site development to ensure our website is perfect for google and our customer.
  • Liaise regularly with the PPC team to ensure we have an aligned keyword strategy that complements each other.
  • Help with educating all internal teams who impact SEO to ensure they understand how SEO is contributing to business performance, and to be aligned to their goals and objectives
  • Keep abreast of relevant innovation and developments to ensure SEO practices are cutting edge and effective
  • Manage agencies, third party suppliers and line management of internal team.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experienced SEO hands-on practitioner with proven track record in delivering noticeable increased traffic, sales and profit growth. (essential)
  • Budgetary management (essential)
  • Analytical, data-driven, and numerate (essential)
  • Passion for Missguided (essential)
  • Delivers with great execution (essential)
  • Adaptable and flexible and not fazed by a fast-paced and changeable environment (essential)
  • Familiar with Google Analytics Premium and other relevant SEO tools and software (essential)
  • Fashion retail experience (preferred)
