About You


We are looking for a driven and ambitious SEO Executive to work with our SEO agency to develop and implement our onsite search strategy. The successful candidate will be involved in the planning and research of ongoing SEO activity to ensure that the Content team’s product, destination and holiday content is optimised, and that our Brand team is running effective campaigns. As well as showing improvement in ranking and visibility for our core search terms, we require someone with an ability to spot trends and opportunities for short-term organic traffic gains.

Key Responsibilities


  • Growing organic traffic and revenue
  • Day-to-day optimisation of categories, sub-categories and campaigns
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and use this to write and implement targeted updates to meta titles, descriptions, H1’s and other on-page content changes to drive performance
  • Monitor competitor performance in local search engines, conduct competitor research and feedback insight
  • Collaborating with the Content Executives in the team to align overall Organic Search strategies
  • Developing SEO processes and procedures to improve efficiency and delivery of Campaigns
  • Collaborating with the external SEO agency to drive weekly priorities towards the SEO strategy and show improvement in visibility for our core terms
  • Create and publish SEO-optimised editorial-style content and landing page copy across various sections of the On the Beach Group websites, in line with our brand tone of voice and style guide


Knowledge, Experience and Skills


  • Several years’ experience in a content or SEO role with a thorough understanding of SEO principles, experience responding to Google algorithm updates
  • Proficient user of Google Analytics and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Moz Pro
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with updating content via a CMS platform
  • Keen eye for detail and a highly analytical problem solver
  • Organised with a commercial awareness and an ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities, and the flexibility to react to changing priorities
  • To be highly collaborative and a willing team player
  • Ability to manage target expectations and report on KPI’s
  • Strong copywriter and content-savvy
  • Results-oriented with strong sense of ownership of projects and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Remote Working


Currently we are all working remotely, however in the near future we will operate a hybrid working model where you will be required to work from your home and our Aeroworks HQ in Manchester.
