About You

As an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative or an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for your next career step, you’ll be brilliant at delivering a first-class service, ensuring the warehouse operations run efficiently during the night shift (10pm – 6am) and effectively and set targets are achieved. You’ll be brimming with ideas to continue to improve productivity and improve on KPI’s. You’ll be computer literate and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. With a positive ‘can-do’ attitude you’ll demonstrate the all the right Frugi behaviours and be viewed as a role model within the Warehouse team.

Please note: we also have permanent part-time warehouse operative night shift and day shift vacancies available.

Your Role in a Nutshell

To assist the Warehouse Supervisors, ensuring that all orders get packed accurately and sent speedily so that we have lots of happy customers. Ensuring that all standard operational procedures are adhered to within a busy department of a rapidly growing company. This role will be on a rotational basis within departments listed below.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan labour requirements for a minimum rolling 7-day period.
  • Work to and report daily KPIs and standards across warehouse functions
  • Liaise with relevant departments to minimise double handling and open communication channels.
  • Coach and develop team members including new starters in their areas of rotated responsibility.
  • Support the management team in 1-2-1s and recruitment of their rotated areas.
  • Support the management team in reviewing and where appropriate updating SOP’s within their rotated areas.
  • Ensure goods leave HQ in a timely manner for our trade and key wholesale accounts, packing in accordance with supplier manuals.
  • Ensuring stock movements are completed and information relating to this sent to all relevant keyholders.
  • Communicate effectively the workload/requirements between QC, Production and Warehouse, ensuring teams are briefed on requirements.
  • Hold responsibility for all QC paper trails and feed these back/file appropriately.
  • Ensure that all orders are packed both accurately and efficiently by all staff members and that relevant marketing materials for promotions are included where applicable (catalogues/flyers etc.).
  • Receiving deliveries, counting in stock and checking for damage and faults – reporting any damage/issues to the Warehouse Manager/Production Team.
  • Ensure that stock levels are accurate and alerting Warehouse Supervisor to any anomalies/issues.
  • Ensure all returns are processed in a timely manner.
  • Attending weekly/monthly meetings as required to ensure that you are aware of monthly targets, special promotions etc.


Essential Skills
  • You’ll be physically fit; able to work night shifts, lift medium weight boxes and work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • You’ll be an experienced and well-rounded Warehouse Operative with a strong desire to step up and develop your skills.
  • You’ll be an exceptional performer with a proven ability to achieve KPI’s and work to key procedures.
  • You’ll be a positive role model with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor fellow colleagues.
  • You’ll have the drive and passion to take on more, to do things better, and to help us to improve processes, procedures and working practices.
  • You’ll have the desire to broaden your business knowledge and be able to work collaboratively with teams across the business.
  • You’ll be an excellent communicator in the spoken and written word, with accuracy and great attention to detail.
  • You’ll be flexible and adaptable with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • You’ll be super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • You’ll be computer literate and quick to learn new systems and processes.
