Our client based in Basingstoke is looking to hire a Senior Transport Planner to join their successful and dynamic logistics company. This is a full-time, permanent position.

The right candidate will be responsible for planning the routes for approximately 30 vehicles and will be expected to lead the team in planning cost effective routes.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 5pm

Pay:

  • Up to £35,000 per annum

Duties Include:

  • Ensuring all routes planned are in line with WTD.
  • Planning cost effective routes for up to 30 drivers.
  • Meeting financial and service-level agreement’s.
  • Briefing and debriefing drivers.

Requirements:

  • Must have multi-drop experience with abnormal loads.
  • Previous experience as a Transport Planner.
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Previous manual planning experience.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
