We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team based at our London office. The position itself will include, but not be limited to:

• To support senior staff, providing technical support for a wide range of project types and consultancy commissions.
• Provide weekly monitoring information against key indicators. Ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QA system Liaise with other Project Centre staff.
• Check output produced by more junior staff in terms of reports/drawings etc. Assist in developing Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the service area.
• Respond to client and customer enquiries taking messages, when necessary and ensuring that their needs are met.

Our ideal candidate will have but not limited to:

• Relevant Degree or HND/HNC (preferably in engineering) or equivalent qualifications.
• Membership of a professional institution (e.g. MILT, MICE or MCIHT) or aiming towards Consideration given to significant relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualification.
• A minimum of 5 year’s relevant experience Sound understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles and a track record in transport planning, design and/or delivery.
• Expertise in highways related AutoCAD design highly desirable Familiarity with TMA 2004
