An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Therapy Assistant to join our forward thinking and dynamic integrated Therapy Team, within the speciality of Acute Medicine at the Royal Oldham hospital.

You will work within an integrated model of care to provide timely assessments, rehabilitation, and support with discharge planning for our patients.

You will gain experience of working in a busy and pro-active environment where evidence-based practice is embedded and joint working, service development and CDP is encouraged.

We are looking for individuals who work well as part of a team and can contribute to innovative ideas on clinical pathways and can help drive forward excellence.

You must be adaptable to working with a range of patients and working environments with a flexible approach to the delivery of care. This must include a willingness to adopt working patterns that include weekends and public/bank holidays which may form part of your contracted hours or may include working additional hours.

Within this role you will work as part of the Integrated Therapy team , in the speciality of Acute medicine .

You will provide assessments and interventions, for a delegated caseload of patients, with support and supervision of a qualified therapist, undertaking administrative and stock control duties as requested to support the Integrated therapy services
