Job title:Senior Test Engineer-Flight Systems

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Responsible for managing the Acoustic Fatigue Facility (AFF) and workload, utilising specialist equipment, supporting all aspects and tasks within the AFF.
  • Design, develop and execute acoustic tests within the Acoustic Fatigue Facility
  • Take a lead role in the team responsible for delivering Noise and Vibration testing.
  • Supporting test rig design and designing the instrumentation requirements.
  • Ensuring data integrity and analysis, feeding into key stakeholders internally and externally
Essential

Your skills and experiences:
  • Acoustics Engineering
  • National Instrument software and hardware Experience
  • Data analysis and reduction
  • Instrumentation of Strain Gauges, Accelerometers, Microphones
  • HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent within Acoustics
Desirable
  • Experience of Bruel & Kjaer and LMS
  • Familiarity with Engineering Systems, Airframe Engineering, Project Management tools

Senior Test Engineer-Flight Systems

You will be joining the Flight Systems test team as a senior member, overseeing a team of 4 Test Engineers within a wider team of 12 people. You will have contact across the Air sector dealing with customers, partners and suppliers on a daily basis. No two days will be the same, and you will be surrounded by like minded colleagues who share a passion for their work, coming together to understand complex challenges and varied workload.
