Reporting directly to Director of Medical Software Technology, the Senior Technician – Medical Software Support will provide support for the MedVet strategic software utilized by our healthcare providers, clients, and Referral Partners. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the healthcare industry and enjoys working with people in a challenging and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts around support, training, process design, and technology implementation for our healthcare teams, Referral Partners, and clients.
  • Identify process, training, and software improvement opportunities to enhance the experience of users of our HMS software.
  • Analyze and review requests for improvements and propose solutions.
  • Manage and maintain MedVet strategic software including templates, diagnostic integrations, clinical workflows, products and charge structure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by our healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to maximize their clinical efficiency.
  • Assist with setup, training, deployment, and support of MedVet strategic software in all MedVet hospitals.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of an Associate Degree with 4 years’ experience in a software support role. Experience in the healthcare and/or veterinary industry highly desired, but not required. In addition, this position requires:
  • Experience with clinical workflows and processes, highly desired, but not required
  • Experience with veterinary software (such as ezyVet, Cornerstone, Smartflow, VetRocket, rVetLink, etc.) highly desired, but not required
  • Desire to continue to grow professionally in a rapid growth organization
  • Advanced Computer Software application skills
  • Advanced level of MS Office knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with advanced analytical skills
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Must have a professional demeanor
  • Desire and ability to work around animals (no allergies)
  • Ability to travel 40-60%
