We have a position for a Technical Specialist working in the Customer Identity and Access Management Engineering team. You will have the chance to participate in a transformation program which will see many customer facing LSEG applications and services adopt our new CIAM technology stack. This will give you exposure to wide variety of applications and their development teams, including bulk and real-time data APIs, information desktops and APIs, trading applications and others. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with IAM experience to gain exposure to wide range of financial data applications.
You will work with engineering scrum teams, architects, business analysts, product managers, and service and operations teams and be responsible for supporting and driving engineering and operational best practices. Key technologies and tools are: C#, .NET, git, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, AWS lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, S3 and identity standards and APIs such as OAauth2, OIDC, SAML2, and SCIM.
Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with technical architects to ensure consistency of approach with enterprise standards, including Cloud engineering and security
  • Support, by consultation and advice, other application teams in their adoption of the new CIAM technology stack
  • Work with development delivery squads to define solution approach
  • Arbitrate in solutions approach discussions
  • Ongoing solutions review to ensure that they remain fit-for-purpose
  • Research new technology and where appropriate propose usage in applications
  • Work to define standards within the development lifecycle
  • Ensure that documentation standards are defined and understood
  • Identify and lead solutions to settle technical debt
  • Working closely with tech ops teams on deployment/delivery/support requirements
  • Work with Business Analyst to analyze and document impact of proposed technology to existing architecture and communicate any potential risks
  • Establish and clearly document measurable performance requirements, development standards and security requirements
