The Position: HyTrust an Entrust company are seeking a Senior Technical Sales Consultant, which is the most senior level pre-sales role within the HyTrust business segment. They are expected to be highly technical demonstrating experience across multiple technology segments such as virtualization, data security (encryption and key management), public and private cloud. They must provide internal subject matter expertise on HyTrust technology and have a working knowledge of Entrust nShield and IAM solutions. Furthermore, a Snr Technical Sales Consultant is expected to possess the sale acumen to interact with executive leadership or field-level admins within a customer or prospective accounts.

This role is a direct peer of the contacts we work with at both customer and partner organizations.

This role requires an individual that is prepared to travel extensively to secure business for the organization. Along with many projects across the territory, this role will involve global travel to existing customers and new prospects across EMEA and APAC as required.

This role requires both technical and sales skills to understand customer needs/requirements to assist in the qualification of sales opportunities. This person will be viewed as a trusted advisor to help customers and prospects utilize our HyTrust security technologies. Must be a self-starter who can multi-task, manage their time, prioritize accordingly and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Developing long-lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence
  • Working directly with clients to understand their business strategy, program requirements & processes
  • Formulate and lead pre-sales technical/functional support activities for prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop solutions for large and complex sales opportunities
  • Help team members become proficient in presenting HyTrust solution presentations and demos where needed
  • Scoping the client solution to enable accurate estimation of the effort
  • Assist with key customer demos and presentations when required/requested
Qualifications
  • 5+ years pre-sales working experience for cloud security, cloud infrastructure, or virtualization software company (some experience working with channel/partner is required) with a proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or the architect level
  • Specialized knowledge/skills and demonstrated proficiency with at least one major open systems operating system (UNIX, Linux, or Windows)
  • Enterprise software installation experience is required; installation across private, public, and hybrid clouds is a plus
  • Strong background in at least two or more of the following areas: Security (encryption, access control, PAM, IAM) is a must, and one of virtualization or public cloud providers or other areas is desirable
