IT Systems Engineer is required by well established Wholesaler and Logistics company based in Eastbourne paying up to 37,000k. Following a company restructure the organisation have decided to create a new role to help the team to continuing developing and providing the outstanding technical service they are known for.

The Systems Engineer will join the Service Desk will be responsible for the support and development of the company’s internal infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Windows servers in VMWare environments, Microsoft IIS, SCCM and Exchange servers, and wired & wireless networks.

In this role, you will also be responsible for writing documentation, supporting and training Junior I.T. Systems Engineers, supporting the roll-out of new bespoke applications, and testing and evaluating new technology. You will also be required to provide on call support for one week every four however this may change as the continue with the restructure.

You will need to demonstrate essential technical experience with Microsoft operating systems, up to and including Windows 10 & server 2019, Ethernet Networking including Layer 2/3 Switches, VLAN’s, NIC’s, Wireless Networking (802.11b/g/n) and Infrastructure Cabling and including working on a helpdesk as this will be tested during the interview process.
