We’re particularly interested in individuals with professional experience working with children and dealing with challenging behaviours. However personal experience of working with children with disabilities will also be considered.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll foster positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with those you support. Key Qualities of the Ideal Senior Support Worker:

Resilient, flexible, and composed in your approach

Ability to lead a small team.

Proficient in following positive behaviour support plans

Skilled in assisting individuals in developing independence across all aspects of daily life

Capable of providing personal care, supporting with medication, and meal preparation

Senior Support Worker Responsibilities:

Managing the service in the absence of the Service Manager

Shift Leading

Updating Support Plans and Risk Assessments

Undertaking Support Worker Supervisions and Competency Assessments

Providing care to the People we Support

Support residents’ hobbies and activities

Assist with day-to-day chores
