We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Support Officer to join our Independent Living function at Eagle House in Stafford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals within the community.

As a Senior Officer you will be leading the front-line team in our services. You will be providing support and advice to a team of Support Workers whilst ensuring our customers’ everyday needs are being met. You will also oversee the delivery of commissioned services within the Scheme.

This is a part time role working 24 hours per week – we’re flexible on the days of work which we’re happy to discuss with candidates! The service on scheme operates between the hours of 8am and 8pm, Monday – Sunday, with an on-call rota in place.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team providing contracted support services to vulnerable individuals.
  • Carry out regular 1-to-1s with your team to help ensure the best service possible for our customers.
  • Provide support to customers around accessing health services and employment.
  • Oversee support plans/risk assessments that are put in place with customers.
  • Engage with homeless services and liaise with the Intensive-Housing Management team when necessary.

Our ideal candidate?

  • You’ll hold a Health and Social Care Diploma Level 3 or A level equivalent
  • You’ll have extensive experience providing support to vulnerable individuals facing a range of challenges such as homelessness and substance misuse
  • You’ll also have previous experience of leading a team to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Finally, you will be able to demonstrate resilience when faced with challenging circumstances.
