About The Job

The mission of this role is to effectively manage a number of Supply Points & their respective products, and to deliver into the business critical Innovation & Renovation projects from a Supply perspective. It is critical to achieve optimum levels of stock for UKIR customers in the right timeframes - enough to meet our customers’ demand while avoiding write-off & maintaining healthy inventory levels, both in physical stock & financial measures.

About You

You will ideally be a curious and engaging individual, with a genuine passion for supply chain and/or supply planning. You will naturally enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and building trustful relationships across all different parts of the business

You possess strong data analysis skills and are able to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data to drive the business agenda.

  • System experience (SAP/APO) as the role is heavily system focused

This Role Offers

The mission of this role is to effectively manage a number of Supply Points & their respective products, and to deliver into the business critical Innovation & Renovation projects from a Supply perspective. This will be achieved through effective stake-holder management, rigorous tracking & analysis of data, combined with the ability to challenge & influence to ensure smooth introduction of products to market, or smooth & seamless transitions of existing products. It is critical to achieve optimum levels of stock for UKIR customers in the right timeframes - enough to meet our customers’ demand while avoiding write-off & maintaining healthy inventory levels, both in physical stock & financial measures.

Key Accountabilities Include
  • Ownership of production plans on short term (weekly) and mid/long-term horizons for allocated Supply Points, ensuring Stock Availability and appropriate levels of inventory to cover UK and Ireland Demand and Warehouses.
  • Responsible for achieving agreed Service levels, and to Lead Service Meeting including SC Director to review W-1 performance and current issues.
  • Ownership for setting optimum safety stock levels, defining best practice processes & driving improvements across the category and with nominated Supply Points.
  • Responsible for managing stock to targeted inventory levels & proactively working to identify possible write-off, closely monitoring shelf-life challenges, and propose actions to mitigate
  • Anticipate over/under capacities and propose solutions in the immediate term to avoid availability issues
  • Present issues in Weekly Availability Meeting (Snr Mgt forum) for escalation/resolution
  • Escalate issues to Global S&OP team and represent UK CBU in monthly global Operations calls
  • Lead Monthly reviews with allocated Supply Points to improve performance against KPIs (CSL, PSL, Write-off)
  • Manage communications clearly for any Out of Stock situations with relevant stakeholders, including Customer team, Sales, Marketing and Medical teams
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, sales, inventory & ASMs to understand short, medium and long term demand and share knowledge of supply horizon to improve performance and anticipate issues, co-building preventative solutions
  • Lead Innovation projects from GoLaunch stagegate, including Phase-In/Phase-Out, representing Operations functions in SteerCo meetings.
  • Management of specific process areas as relevant to the category/assigned portfolio; eg. Managing Stock@Risk process; managing Co-Pack process; Inventory Projections for Finance and Warehouse; collate, analyse and report FABDOH to global team
  • Daily tasks within SAP; to communicate/translate issues and changes for Supply Point and SN business
  • Work with Stock integrity / inventory planners to understand daily issues management
