The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated sustainability consultant to join our join our world leading sustainability team, and to work with high profile-built environment businesses in the UK and around the world on setting long term ESG strategies.

As part of our established team of consultants and engineers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will develop your knowledge of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues facing construction and property businesses.

You will assist with the development of strategies for organisations, real estate portfolios, new developments and existing assets. You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.

The role will include supporting and developing our sustainability services, including:
  • Net zero carbon roadmaps
  • Carbon foot printing and Science Based Targets
  • Corporate ESG strategies
  • Climate change risk assessments
  • Bespoke development and asset management frameworks
The Skills

Educated to degree level in Engineering, the Built Environment or Sustainable Development, or with demonstrable experience of working in the built environment, you will have gained experience in a relevant sustainability role. You will have knowledge and experience of relevant environmental, social and governance frameworks such as the UN SDGs, the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, PRI, Science Based Targets and TCFD.

Given the strategic and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
