Main duties of the job

Senior Staff Nurse at the Coronary Care Unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ysbyty Gwynedd for a senior Band 6 nurse. We’re looking for a dependent and punctual individual to join our small friendly team on the coronary care unit. The applicant should be innovative to ensure that the standard of care is kept high within the unit. The unit consists of 6 beds, providing care for patients with a vast array of cardiac conditions.

Every day is a new challenge, and the team work hard to provide the best care to the patients by implementing changes that lead to improvements in patient care. A senior member of staff is designated to every shift, and we work closely with the medical staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team, whilst being supported by an experienced manager.

The applicant will be hard working and will enjoy working as a team, with a passion to develop services in order to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
