Senior Sous Chef - Christchurch - Fresh Food Restaurant - Up to 45,000

A Senior Sous Chef is required for this popular restaurant in New Milton. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner they are owned by a local family and pride themselves on offering freshly cooked locally sourced produce.

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Sous Chef to join the brigade and prepare and present food to an expected high standard

Key Info:

  • Salary: 40,000 - 45,000
  • Hours: 5/7 days Straight shifts - min 40 hours
  • Location: Christchurch

Responsibilities:

  • Run a section and support Head Chef
  • Prepare and cook meals to the required standard
  • Stock control/ordering

  • Experience as Sous Chef working with fresh produce
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A willingness to learn and progress
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
