We are looking for a new colleague to join Race Engineering at our ZF Hub UK location in Solihull.

Your tasks as Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d):

Develop software requirements, specifications, designs and coding in embedded C
Validate software performance and safety using a range of software testing techniques
Technically lead software development projects and work packages with local and offshore teams
Be a member of the Software Group reporting to the Software Technology Group Leader
Deliver software for vehicle motion control, electromobility, autonomous driving, integrated safety and digitalisation consultancy services and special series applications projects

Your profile as Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d):

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline
Several years hands-on and planning experience of software engineering life cycle for safety critical product applications working within ASPICE, MISRA and ISO26262 standard environments
Embedded C, Vector CAN tools, CAPL and Qt/C++ and C# diagnostics knowledge
Willing and able to occasionally visit customers and ZF facilities globally
Fluent English language and excellent inter-personal skills for customer and off-shore supplier liaison
