About The Role

At CDP our vision is to significantly improve and enrich lives through innovation. Working within our multidisciplinary teams on major development projects, you will be working in market sectors where we have developed deep expertise and can cross fertilise ideas. Currently these include Healthcare (highly regulated), Consumer products (consumer and brand focused) and Industrial solutions (technically focused).

As a Senior Consultant Software Engineer, you’ll be part of and leading our multidisciplinary teams contributing to major development projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software for a range of product applications for our clients globally.

In the medical space, we improve human health with products such as the First Response Monitor which delivered biometric diagnostic monitoring to a challenging environment, winning two red dot awards in the process; a variety of therapeutic instruments and drug delivery platforms; and of course, diagnostic test devices helping us directly address the coronavirus pandemic today.

In the consumer space, we create anything from toys to GPS systems and beyond, and have developed a specialism in demanding, hand-held, power constrained, and wearable products, each of which enriches the lives of their owners.

For our industrial developments, connectivity plays an increasing role, with products existing as part of a wider ecosystem, rather than a solution in their own right. Examples such as metering and measurement give direct benefit, whilst others target aspects such as production automation, resource management or renewable technologies, benefitting both the planet and humankind in the process.

What ties all these developments together is a focus on improving lives through innovation, and a respect for elegant, simple and creative solutions.

This role will offer you the perfect opportunity to work with and lead our multi-disciplinary project teams while bringing your insight, creativity and technical knowledge to develop solutions for our clients. With an entrepreneurial attitude, you will push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the world of technology. Methodical and able to develop systems and structures, you will have the ability to demonstrate evidence of understanding the value of work undertaken and strive for big achievements.
