Senior Software Engineer/PHP/ Gateshead/ Remote/ £60K

Are you an experienced Software Engineer who wants to take charge and put your own stamp projects you create? We could have the perfect role for you!

Corecom Consulting are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with our client where you will be encouraged to progress your career within the company and be part of new developments where you will be creating new applications with new features using Symfony (or equivalent) frameworks.

What do we need from you?
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Working knowledge of front-end tooling such as HTML5/CSS/SASS
  • At least 5 years commercial experience with O-O PHP
  • Recent experience with Laravel Framework
  • Experience in leading or mentoring teams is beneficial
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be helping our client’s ambitious growth plans with the opportunity to progress your career with ongoing support and training. You will be working on new greenfield developments in which you will need high levels of expertise in Object-Oriented PHP, and familiarity with the Laravel Framework will beneficial.
