Join a music streaming service that gives back to their artists and focuses on treating every user as a unique listener.With over half a million users already since going live last year, this is a platform becoming more and more popular and is not just for music, but for all kinds of audio streaming, including podcasts and more. You’ll be coming in to take full ownership of the API, which is written in Go.This is a fully remote position and a remote first business having done away with their office recently.You’ll get involved with all system design discussions and decisions and you’ll be encourage to come up with new ways of improving the platform. This will include things like improving features for the listener that can intelligently work out what music they may wish to listen to, along with integrating the platform with Google and the artist payment system.You must have a solid expertise in Golang. This is a non-negotiable given the platform is built entirely with it. You’ll also need to have strong experience of taking full ownership of APIs and microservices ideally on AWS. Any experience with database systems similar to Cassandra, Redis, Aerospike, Druid, etc. would be a huge plus.You’ll be given the chance to grow and progress here. Starting salary is up to £90,000 plus stock options. With early investors being some of the initial investors in Spotify and Shazam, they’ve already identified this service as one with huge potential for the future.Want to be part of it?
