Onebright is has an exciting and dynamic team of passionate IT professionals that is developing our next generation of systems, data and digital services. Our vision is to create a data driven state-of-the art enterprise solution with a service layer based on microservices as the foundation of several customer-centric solutions.

As a Senior you will responsible for the running of the team of 4 developers, ensuring that work is completed in a reasonable time and with good quality, following stablished patterns across the teams.

You will also be expected to input into our architectural and wider system discussions.

You will be work alongside the Lead Developer and Product Owners to realise impactful business value.

Duties
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a small team of developers
  • Component recommendation and POC for our Microservice based Service Layer
  • Provide technical advice on all software development issues
  • Reporting progress and blockers to the Lead Developer
  • Document technical aspects of system design and development
Qualifications/Experience
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field or comparable relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Good experience with the following:
    • C#/.NET Cre
    • HTML5/ MVC .NET
    • TypeScript/JavaScript/CSS/jQuery
    • SQL Server
    • REST APIs + catalgues (Swagger / Azure Data Catalog)
    • Secure by design principles, OWASP principles, Privacy by Design principles
    • SnarCloud
    • Surce control with git
  • Additional experience with the following:
    • Message buses (RabbitMQ, kafka ...)
    • CI/CD pipelines such as Azure Devps/Jenkins/Bamboo/TeamCity
    • Lgging support components (ElasticSearch/Kibana)
    • Dcker, Kubernetes
    • Azure
    • Issue tracking and dcumentation tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Unit testing
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Technical documentation
  • Stakeholder management
Experience in service orchestration with BPMN components such as Camunda
