How you’ll make an impact

The role of the Senior Developer is to undertake software application development of new or improved features in Xero and its associated service delivery systems, including internal systems.

The role sits within our Xero Business team and is a brand new Software Development Hub within Xero UK but working as part of the global development team

You will be responsible for producing robust high quality software, meeting agreed specifications. Collaborate inclusively and effectively to produce the best outcomes. What you’ll bring…

You will be a “hands-on” developer interested in platform development with a proven background in producing robust high quality software, meeting agreed specifications with a real passion for software development and building design-led software using a wide range of internet based technologies and the ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.

You will have a minimum of 4 years developing web based applications within an Agile environment using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 as well as experience of C# and ASP.Net MVC. Ideally you will have strong knowledge of React, EXTJS and/or MVC/MVVM client-side frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, Knockout or Durandal.

Any experience with Git and Github, would be greatly advantageous.

This role is accompanied by a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits dependant on knowledge and experience.
