About Us

We are a high quality painting and decorating company providing decorating services to a wide range of private, public and main contractor clients throughout London and the South East region. We are now seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our team working on a project based in Godalming.

Job Purpose Summary

As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the project under the supervision of the Contracts Manager, making sure it is delivered to a high standard. Managing the completion of works and undertaking quality inspections ensuring that project deadlines are met whilst adhering to H&S.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the progress of the work and performance of workers on site
  • Chair and attend progress meetings on site with client and contractors
  • Communicate to site workers areas of defects and improvements
  • Planning the project and tasks
  • Administer first aid to any injured worker on site
  • Report accidents that occur on site and complete the relevant accident reporting documentation
  • Ensure that any change in the project communicated to workers
  • Identify any potential problems at the site and work to prevent it
  • Ability to review RAMS
  • Ability to write CPP and H&S documents
  • Ability to produce risk assessments and method statements
Person Specification

Knowledge
  • Experience in working in a residential environment
  • The works consist of a large external project including design scaffold being erected with tin hat. Roofing. Brickwork as well as other external elements
  • Experience in delivering project to deadline
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • Computer literate
Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally
  • Progress reporting, tracking the progress of the project
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work on own initiative
Qualifications
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
  • 5 Day First Aid Qualification
