Senior Security Engineer - Milton Keynes - £70,000 to £80,000

My client is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead a team of Cyber Security Engineers and Analysts that provide Managed Security Services rom their Milton Keynes HQ.



Role:



This is a enviable position with a well-established technology company, founded by a known entrepreneur that is focused on delivering cutting edge Cyber Security and Cloud Managed Services to some of the UK’s best-known mid-market companies.



Main Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to other members of the team
  • Guide engineering design, analysis, implementation, and support of security technologies
  • Research, design, and implement cyber security solutions
  • Drive the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures, and standards
  • Drive the responses to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
  • Conduct ongoing research around the threat landscape, including threat actors, TTPs and develop IR actions, investigation strategies and tooling



Essential Skills & Experience:



  • Microsoft Certifications such as: AZ-104, SC-200, MS-500 & AZ-500
  • Hands-on design & implementation experience of SIEM solutions: MS Sentinel, Splunk etc
  • Experience of scripting languages such as Python/Powershell
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Azure Security Solutions, MCAS, AADIP, Defender for endpoint, DNS, Defender for Identity, Office 365
  • A good understanding of Information Security Governance, ISO 27001, IASME Governance
  • Linux - RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian etc
  • Experience in Virtualisation / Cloud and Scalability of infrastructures
