We are looking for a Senior Technical Reviewer- Process Analytics to join our team based at our Manufacturing site in Slough, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Critically review and interpret raw data & information to produce good quality process knowledge
- Check for any issues affecting the assays relating to scientific integrity, interpretation of data, calculation, transcription errors, Regulatory compliance and SOP deviations
- Issue of assays relating to product quality and Process-derived constituents in both paper and electronic format
- To provide feedback to Scientist on outcome of checking on daily bases, and to train staff to reinforce best practices
- To provide and work to meet deadlines for each assay
- Tracking of errors for each assay procedure and feed back on trends to Process Analytics management
- Role model for best practise and behaviour
- To take part in internal administration required to maintain the Assay systems e.g. assay request system, e-workbook
- Knowledge of QMS/GMP systems as applied to process and analytical development
- Escalate issues in a timely fashion with possible solutions
- Represent department as part of multi-disciplinary Customer project team
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal use and for customers (as required)
- Reports review
- Actively participate in scientific discussions
- Degree in relevant scientific / technical discipline or appropriate laboratory experience (at least 5 years)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of biochemical methods as applied to Protein analysis and process-derived constituents
- Proven ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Prioritise and manage own time effectively
- Work independently and to agreed plan
- Proven problem solving skills
- Demonstrate flexibility to support other activities within the Team/Department
- Initiate problem solving / trouble shooting activities and escalate as appropriate
- Takes responsibility for own actions and data issued to project team/customer
- Proficiency with standard and specialist software e.g. Microsoft Office packages, file systems, browsers, Empower
