We are currently recruiting for an A Senior Sales and Events Co-ordinator at Wood Hall Hotel and Spa.

Wood Hall Hotel and Spa is a stunning 4AA Red Star Hotel steeped in history offering the very highest level of service and standards with excellent attention to detail and attentive service adding to its charm.

The hotel is popular choice for both corporate and leisure guests and boasts an award winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant with a health club and spa.

The hours for this role 40 hours per week including weekends on a rota basis with 2 weekends off per month.


About the role:

  • The role of the Senior Sales and Events Co-ordiantor will invovle supporting the Sales and Events Revenue Manager in the day to day running of the
  • You will be the ultimate people person who enjoys building positive relationships with everyone you meet, giving them faith and confidence in your knowledge and event organisation abilities from the very first conversation.
  • In this role of Senior Sales and Events Co-ordiantor your role will also be sales focused, ensuring you maximise on sales opportunities, including up selling and conversion.
  • You will enjoy making recommendations to meet the needs of your clients and their budgets. Whether it’s a wedding, private dinner or a big birthday bash, you’ll take the reins and help to plan the event from start to finish.

About you:

  • To be considered for this role you will have current sales and events coordiantion experience within a hotel, conference centre or similar environment, this role may suit an experienced sales and events coordiantor looking for a step up.
  • It is essential you are self-reliant and are able to act on your own initiative where appropriate.
  • Are able to demonstrate a methodical approach and are highly organised and have a systematic approach to your work.
  • You will have excellent leadership and communication skills and have the ability to coach and develop others ensuring they reach their maximum potential.
  • Strong knowledge of Opera, diary management and meetings and events sale is required for this role.
