Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate

The Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for legal compliance of all Holland & Barrett International’s Foods & Food Supplements, Cosmetics and Licensed Products. Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for Food Supplements, a vacancy has become available within the team for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate (Food Supplements & International).

Key Accountabilities:

• Ability to work well within a team and offer guidance and support to more junior members of the team
• Support NPD projects by provision of expert regulatory advice and guidance on new products and formulations
• Approval of own label Food Supplement specifications and labels in accordance with UK and EU regulatory requirements.
• Review of product claims, marketing material, website sell copy and third-party packaging for legal compliance.
• Approval of new product communications such as in-store POS material.
• Keeping up to date with upcoming Regulation changes across the UK and EU. Communication of changes to the business and input into business processes to deal with change
• Provision of regulatory advice to various departments within the business including the International, Commercial and Web teams
• Notification of the sale of food supplements within various EU countries, including ROI.
