Job responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our centralised Resourcing Team in the Early Careers space. In this role you will be involved in delivering a proactive recruitment service on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all live roles have an agreed recruitment plan which is delivered to a high standard. An essential part of this position is to be responsible for recruiting the right person into the right job within an agreed timeframe. You will be communicating with all parties involved in the process and will look to significantly drive down recruitment costs, focusing on a direct sourcing approach and deliver a first-class service to customers at all levels across the business unit. Candidates should go away from their interaction with us, regardless of outcome, feeling positive and inspired by Kier and its opportunities.

You will have a previous Early Careers experience, having recruited for vacancies within an in-house team or for a recruitment agency and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be familiar with managing high volumes of recruitment with end-to-end coverage. In addition you will understand and have previous experience coaching and developing hiring managers around "best in class" and be their subject matter expert for resourcing. If you have a proactive approach, strong stakeholder management skills, experience within the construction industry and looking to enhance your recruitment career, then this is the role for you!
