Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: This is an agile role within our Eastern region, where we have an office based in Rushden. Home working is also available with some travel to other offices and sites

Business area: Kier Construction - Eastern and Midlands

Contract: Permanent, full time.

Kier Construction are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead projects based out of our Rushden office. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Education to commercial, healthcare, leisure, public sector and more!


Key Responsibilities

Working alongside the project delivery team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors. You will have exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery. As the successful applicant, you will manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to assess contract risk and work with the delivery team to develop and manage mitigation plans.


What do we need from you?

Ideally you will have experience from a similar role within the construction industry. You’ll be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel. You will be degree qualified and able to demonstrate strong communication and organisational abilities.
