Summary

Turnbull Infrastructure & Utilities Ltd (Part of the YTL group) is a subsidiary Company of Wessex Water Ltd currently engaged as a Tier 1 Contractor on the Hinkley Point C project, leading the COMA alliance.

Our contract at Hinkley Point C continues to grow from strength to strength, and as such we have an exciting opportunity in our commercial team for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is a varied role and will develop with the right individual. Flexible working arrangement available following completion of probationary period.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supply chain management to include drafting and issuing of NEC3 subcontracts
  • Prepare internal contract valuations
  • Develop & Produce CVR reports
  • Oversee application and invoicing process
  • Maintain good relationships with the client
  • Compile Forecasts and attend forecast Meetings
  • Supporting Contracts Managers and operational teams by offering sound commercial advice on projects
  • Manage Change through CEMAR
  • Assist with the development of the departmental Commercial Strategy
  • Manage projects to maximise opportunities and minimise risk

What are the requirements?

· Excellent understanding of NEC forms of contracts

· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and office packages

· Ability to manage schemes ranging from £10k to £10m

· Excellent commercial awareness

· Have excellent communication skills

· Be driven and self-motivated

· Have sound commercial and business knowledge

· Experience in producing internal and external reports

Good working understanding of Microsoft excel formulas and macros
