Senior Quantity Surveyor - Utilities - Wirral - £55k
Your new company

Our client, an industry leader in the utility industry is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in the Wirral. Based within their Commercial & Performance business unit, reporting to the Commercial & Performance Manager, you will lead a team of professional Quantity Surveyors, ensuring that risks are known and mitigated whilst providing commercial support to the delivery of their business goals and objectives.

Your new role

Responsible for supervision and line management of a team of 3-4 Quantity Surveyors, you will performance manage the Quantity Surveyor team with the assistance of the Commercial Manager. Ensuring the placing of sub-contracts is in line with the requirements of Operational staff and their network’s published policies and procedures, you will have continual review of the sub-contractor portfolio and sub-contracts terms and conditions to ensure best value for their Networks.

What you’ll need to succeed

Our client is looking for someone with quantity surveying experience and has a degree level education in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar, or HND/HNC of relevant subject.
Line management experience is required
A knowledge of NEC3 Frameworks is desirable.
