We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager for our client in the Ammanford area. Proven experience as a hands on Quality Engineer either looking to step up into Management, or as a seasoned Quality Manager, ideally within a heavy engineering background. The main responsibilities will be the improvement of manufacturing processes,reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, setting the requirements from suppliers and monitoring their compliance; supervising inspectors, technicians, and other staff members and providing guidance; ensuring legal obligations are followed and compliance with regulatory bodies, health and safety guidelines; overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards; inspecting the final output, comparing, approving or rejecting final products; keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.
