The job holder is responsible for driving and delivering Business Transformation Projects across the RCI APAC, India & EMEA business including supporting the Panorama brands for the region.

The primary focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of multiple projects / larger complex projects and overseeing program management supporting the strategic plan for the region to drive transformational change.

We are looking for someone that is independent and a self starter profile, with an entrepreneurial mindset in terms of problem solving.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exceptional delivery of confidential projects in line with the strategic plan and roadmap ensuring benefits alignment across all business units.
  • Accountable for monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the projects progress.
  • Clear communication with the Managing Director and SLT on the progress, risks and deliverables of strategic projects.
  • In conjunction with the Managing Director ensure all assigned projects identify clear and measurable return on investment metrics.
  • Supports and participates in the definition of the projects assigned by the Managing Director and project executives.
  • Lead & support matrix project teams through complex and significant projects. Liaises with all parties to ensure project deliverables are communicated.
  • Support and Mentor junior PMs/ project Leads.
  • Assigns resources, monitors progress and takes corrective action to deliver solutions within budget to drive the project milestones.
  • Ability to work in a high pressured environment and agile enough to be able to re-prioritize multiple projects in line with the changing demands of the business.
  • Build and maintain key internal and inter-company relationships within Panorama. Sharing best practices and lessons learned particularly when working across brands.
  • Manage all Compliance & Risk Management aspects associated with the projects and deliverables.
  • Excellent Stakeholder & Relationship Management.
  • Completes ‘Lessons Learned’ after each project and use findings to improve the process going forward.
  • Facilitate project close out review and analysis. Critically evaluate if project delivered benefits as outlined in scope.
  • High level understanding of technology available to deliver against project and highlights risks especially when a 3rd party vendor is involved.
  • Coordinates the integration of projects and other strategic initiatives into business units and reports progress at project review meetings. Confirms the transition of completed projects into embedded mainstream processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A self starter, used to working independently
  • Experience of working within a Prince 2 environment and Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent / Agile / IPMA.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software MS Project, MS Visio is a strong advantage.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the business/client environment and systems, connectivity and application technological alternatives.
  • Understanding of various technologies including, applications, databases, networking, telecommunications and connectivity and interdependencies.
  • 5 years in a Project Management role.
  • 5 years’ experience with interacting with senior management.
  • 5 years management experience is desirable and some experience in a management role is essential.
