You will play a key role in contributing to the operational efficiency and financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and on budget. We’re looking to offer a salary up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience. In addition to a car allowance, we also offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Manage members of project teams.
  • Set defined expectations for performance and ensure project members achieve or exceed those expectations
  • Create a collaborative, enjoyable work environment that is conducive to effective creative thinking
  • Directly manage milestones, project workflows and resourcing for assigned projects/clients and define key skills, training and development paths for the team
  • Manage expectations of customers and deliver on commitments

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Experience working with customers as well as experience in transportation, supply chain, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of professional services economics, and experience with change management processes
  • Strong track record of hiring and mentoring project management talent
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
