Clear Route to Contracts & Construction Director

Key client framework agreement in place with significant development capital ready to scale.

Nuage are representing a Midlands based contractor who are rapidly expanding and venturing in to the Home Counties. They are a group structured owner lead organisation; Contractor, Developer and Management Contractor.

As part of a large 5 year framework agreement with a international billion pound investment developer they have identified the Home Counties as an area of key strategic growth for developments and have set aside a significant war chest of development capital for investment opportunities across the Home Counties.

They have an opportunity for an ambitious Construction Project Manager who can take the reigns and run with an £25 million-pound high end retirement development. Enabling works will start over the coming months.

The projects are ran as separate cost centres, and you will be accountable for all project elements, chairing client meetings and reporting directly to the MD. Bonuses are payable against programme & quality targets.

The idea behind the role is to Project Manage the initial scheme but with multiple sites currently in the planning process the role will evolve to recruiting and developing your own construction team and moving to a Contracts Management role within 18 months and Construction Director within 36 months, once the region is profitable and hitting turnover and development targets.

An ideal opportunity for somebody within a Tier 1 Contractor to transfer their skill set into a smaller business and operate with autonomy and add strategic direction to the Construction & Managing Directors.
